Job Overview
The primary role of the Before School Club Assistant is to ensure that the children have a safe and happy environment during the before school club provision at Woodland Community Primary School.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children in the school hall, dining room, and other areas.
- Organise and provide a programme of activities suitable to their age range.
- Assist with serving breakfast.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all users.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Highly motivated, creative, and inspirational.
- Enthusiastic, innovative, and willing to “roll their sleeves up and have a go”.
- High expectations of pupil behaviour.
- Excellent communicator, proactive and able to work in positive partnership with stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to hygiene standards in a food environment.
- Ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
- Subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and background check.
