- 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract at a 468‑branch location at 36-38 Market Place, Heywood, OL10 4NL.
- Shift pattern: Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break), Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break), Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break), Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break), Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break). During this time you will gain knowledge and skills to achieve the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience who is willing to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
Duties will include accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items under the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacist.
Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
Requires utmost attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines, and a desire to learn and progress within the business.
Great people skills are paramount to the role.
Work as part of a well‑established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
