This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key client relationships, nurture long-term partnerships, and proactively drive new business growth. As a Road Freight Account Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Owning a portfolio of client accounts and monitoring client freight needs
- Upselling services and solutions to drive volume
- Conducting regular reviews to identify opportunities, address issues and ensure satisfaction
- Identifying and qualifying new business through cold-calling, email, networking reporting on pipeline, revenue, and client health
We’re looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Ideally at least 2 years’ experience in road freight/logistics
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales and/or account management
- Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
- Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability
- Self‑motivated
