SALES ASSISTANTS – 16 HOURS PER WEEK
Established in 2012, Grape Tree currently has 195 stores in the UK. We are looking to recruit confident and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistants to represent our company in our broadening store network. The successful candidate will report to the Store Manager and will be responsible for delivering fast, efficient, pleasant, unrivalled customer service while maintaining a well‑stocked, clean, and tidy store that leaves a lasting positive impression on customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate the till in accordance with company instructions and management guidance.
- Provide the highest possible standard of customer service.
- Maintain shelves that are fully stocked, properly faced, and visually appealing.
- Assist with maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the store.
- Observe company rules at all times and report any breaches.
- Co‑operate with all colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the store.
Essential skills & experience
- Excellent customer service skills, ideally with experience in food retail.
- Good cash handling skills.
- Organised, practical, and able to roll sleeves up and get stuck in.
- Previous experience in roles such as Retail Assistant, Food Retail, Supermarket, Store Assistant, Convenience Store, Sales Assistant, or similar.
