We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a well-established care home team on day shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse looking to work within a supportive environment that values high standards of care and professional development.

About the Role

We are seeking confident and experienced RMNs with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience within a care home setting. Please note, we are unable to consider applications from newly qualified nurses or those whose experience is solely within bank or agency work for this position. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, leading shifts effectively, and ensuring all clinical and care standards are maintained in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.

  • Competitive hourly rate starting from £20.25 per hour (including paid breaks), dependent on experience and interview outcome

Working Hours

Contracted hours: 38.5 hours per week
Rotational pattern: Week 1: 4 long shifts; Week 2: 3 long shifts (includes weekend working)

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC pin
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a care home setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred mental health care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
