About this job

What you'll be working:

  • 36 - 48 hours
  • Reliable, consistent shifts
  • A range of shifts are available to help support within the client's package of care; he has support from nursing staff almost all of the time and requires 1:1 care during the day and overnight.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing support to a teenage client in his home and in the community as necessary.
  • Interacting with him, playing games and watching his iPad.
  • Promoting independence where appropriate.
  • Personal care

Our client also has a variety of medical needs, including:

  • A central venous line and IV medications and TPN
  • An ileostomy
  • Enteral feeds and medications
  • Clinical observations: temperature, HR and SpO2
  • Multiple severe allergies for which he has an EpiPen

What you'll have:

  • A current NMC Pin registration (Registered Childrens Nurse)
  • A legal right to work in the UK
  • Own vehicle with work insurance
