Registered Veterinary Nurse – Redditch
We are an established, independent small animal practice in Redditch looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly team. This role offers a varied experience across all nursing areas and an opportunity to work closely with veterinarians in surgeries, nurse consults, and client care.
The Role
As an RVN you’ll be part of a tight‑knit clinical team providing outstanding care to both inpatients and outpatients. You’ll take initiative, support vets in surgery, carry out nurse consults, and engage with clients in a compassionate and informative way.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality nursing care across all areas of the practice
- Monitor anaesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
- Run nurse‑led consults and promote preventative healthcare
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised clinical environment
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the wider team
Requirements
- RCVS‑registered, or eligible to register
- Confident in general nursing skills
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude
- Good communication and client care skills
What’s Included
- Salary range £28,000 – £32,000 (DOE)
- 38 hours per week with only 1 in 7 weekends
