Powder / Warehouse Operative – Redditch
Qualifications
- Good English and Maths skills, ability to follow written instructions and carry out calculations.
- Physical fitness for heavy and continuous lifting.
- Good health; not suitable for individuals with asthma or breathing related conditions due to chemical environment.
- Ability to integrate into the work environment and follow instructions.
- Willingness to work various shift patterns, including weekends, as required by business demands.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery including weighing scales, filling pumps and mixers.
- Check goods against paperwork and system records.
- Colour match, tint paints to customer standards using solvent and water‑based paints, in solid and metallic shades.
- Paint spraying application.
- Quality check finished products.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, organisation, and housekeeping.
Shift & Compensation
Shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Benefits: 28 days paid annual leave (pro‑rated for PAYE), bonus scheme, pension contribution, online payslips, weekly pay, and perms for the right candidates.
