Paragon Education is recruiting nursery staff in Redditch, with immediate starts and September 2026 opportunities across a range of positions including Nursery Practitioners, Nursery Assistants, Early Years Educators, Room Leaders, and Level 2 & Level 3 Qualified Nursery Staff.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through play‑based activities.
- Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
- Support daily routines including meals, activity and personal care.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Follow safeguarding and early years policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Cache Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Experience planning engaging activities for young children.
