This role would suit drivers with experience in tramping, European driving, or flatbed transport operations. This is a full‑time temp‑to‑perm HGV driving position offering consistent work, competitive PAYE pay rates, night out allowances, and long‑term career opportunities within the transport and logistics sector.
HGV Driver Job Responsibilities
- Completing nationwide deliveries and collections
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork and transport documents are completed accurately
- Following all UK transport legislation and driver’s hours regulations
- Carrying out daily vehicle defect checks and reporting issues correctly
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and road safety
- Working closely with transport planners, customers, and the operations team
- Following all company health & safety procedures at all times
Pay Rates & Benefits
- £15.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- £25 Night Out Allowance
- £40,000 - £55,000 per year once permanent

Requirements
- A valid UK HGV Licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digi Card
- Good understanding of tachograph and driver’s hours regulations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a transport team
Desirable Experience
- Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
- European driving or tramping experience
