Millison Chase Limited Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV CE Class 1 Drivers for ongoing night shift store retail delivery work across the UK. We are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers to carry out store deliveries for major retail and distribution operations nationwide.

This role involves transporting palletised retail goods safely and efficiently to RDC, NDC, supermarkets, and retail store locations while maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer service. Drivers can expect a mixture of local and nationwide routes, typically involving between 1 to 2 deliveries per shift depending on route allocation and operational requirements. The work is predominantly night driving with regular start times and ongoing full-time shifts available. Some shifts may be long, all completed within driver hours legislation and tachograph regulations. Drivers may be required to complete store deliveries using tail lifts and pallet trucks where required. Pay Progression

  • Monday to Friday Nights: £17.00 per hour
  • Weekends: Up to £20.00 per hour
  • Weekly PAYE pay directly through Millison Chase Limited
  • Ongoing regular work available

Responsibilities

  • Delivering retail goods to RDC, NDC, supermarkets, and store locations nationwide
  • Transporting palletised retail stock safely and efficiently
  • Completing between 1 and 5 deliveries per shift
  • Using tail lifts and pallet trucks where required
  • Carrying out vehicle and trailer safety checks before departure
  • Ensuring all transport paperwork is completed accurately
  • Following all driver’s hours and tachograph regulations
  • Maintaining load security and delivery standards
  • Operating vehicles safely and professionally at all times
  • Maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Communicating effectively with transport teams and delivery locations

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV CE (Class 1) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)
  • Good communication and timekeeping skills
