Hours: 37 hours a week

Location: Kutton Lane Depot, Newcastle-under-Lyme

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of up to two crew members.
  • Responsible for completion of collection rounds and team health and safety.
  • Provide feedback relating to collections and any issues encountered.
  • Use the in-cab device and assist with bin loading.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, explaining services confidently.
  • Ensure safe systems of work and incident reporting procedures are followed.
  • Complete CPC and training during the working day.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required.
  • Current valid HGV Class 2/LGV C and current CPC card.
  • Experience of stop‑start HGV driving and manoeuvring in residential areas.
  • Experience on collection services.
  • Use of in‑cab technology such as Bartec Collective.
  • Sound health and safety knowledge of the industry.
