HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who is ready to embark on a rewarding career.

Please be aware that, due to insurance regulations, our client is unable to provide coverage for individuals under the age of 25 on company vehicles.

Main Duties:
  • Regular scheduled deliveries to the company's wholesale customer base (Average 12 - 15 drops per day)
  • Goods Vehicle Operation / Delivery Driving / FLT Operation
  • Occasional picking and packing of orders to the demands of the customer
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles and making timely and accurate customer deliveries
  • To operate safely within a Warehouse/Fleet environment

This role consists of typically early morning starts with occasional overnight work required.

Manual Handling Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar Driver Class 2 role
  • Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the role.
  • The ability to work within the given time frames ensuring that customer demands are met.
  • Physical and mental aptitude for manual / mechanical work
  • Previous similar experience working in a similar role
  • Manual Handling experience
  • Ability to use IT databases / keyboard skills
  • Forklift Truck Licence / Experience (Training will be provided)
  • Clean UK driving licence / Class 2
