Recruit4staff are representing a leading food manufacturing business in their search for a Quality Assurance Technician to work in Deeside.
Responsibilities
- Maintain food safety and quality standards across the site.
- Carry out daily factory inspections, manage line changeovers, complete swabbing activities, and verify production checks.
- Oversee product sampling for external laboratory testing, including taste panels and End-of-Line assessments.
- Provide training and competency assessments on Critical Control Points (CCP).
- Update and review Product Information Sheets, Quality Attribute Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete process control verification activities such as Free Fatty Acid (FFA) testing.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Experience working in a food manufacturing and/or quality assurance environment.
Desirable Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry standards, including BRC and Retailer Codes of Practice.
- Excellent organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance Technician or similar quality-focused role.
Additional Information
- Hours of Work: Shift rotation, Monday to Thursday, 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am.
- Duration: Temp to Perm.
- Commutable From: Flint, Chester, Holywell.
