Recruit4staff are representing a leading food manufacturing business in their search for a Quality Assurance Technician to work in Deeside.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain food safety and quality standards across the site.
  • Carry out daily factory inspections, manage line changeovers, complete swabbing activities, and verify production checks.
  • Oversee product sampling for external laboratory testing, including taste panels and End-of-Line assessments.
  • Provide training and competency assessments on Critical Control Points (CCP).
  • Update and review Product Information Sheets, Quality Attribute Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete process control verification activities such as Free Fatty Acid (FFA) testing.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Experience working in a food manufacturing and/or quality assurance environment.

Desirable Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry standards, including BRC and Retailer Codes of Practice.
  • Excellent organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance Technician or similar quality-focused role.

Additional Information

  • Hours of Work: Shift rotation, Monday to Thursday, 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am.
  • Duration: Temp to Perm.
  • Commutable From: Flint, Chester, Holywell.
