Blossom Lodge Day Nursery is delighted to be recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our Toddler Room (1–2 years) on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday. This role is ideal for a caring, enthusiastic early years professional who is passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive.

About the Role

  • Full-time position working 44 hours per week over 4.5 days
  • Supporting, developing, and extending children’s play across the EYFS curriculum
  • Creating individual learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs
  • Building strong, positive relationships with parents and colleagues
  • Recording children’s daily activities and progress using our online portal

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a children’s day nursery
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to observe, assess, and record children’s progress
  • Good IT skills for online learning journals
  • Two references required
  • Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
