At Hydrokem Aerosols, we’re looking for a QC Technician to join our night shift team on a temporary basis (up to 16 months). This is a great opportunity to play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance within a fast-paced production environment—while enjoying a long weekend every week.
The QC Technician Role
- Working within the Quality Control function, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all raw materials and finished products meet required standards through inspection, testing, and accurate documentation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting incoming goods quality inspections
- Performing finished product quality control checks
- Carrying out chemical analysis of raw materials and product concentrates
- Ensuring all quality documentation (including Batch Manufacturing Records) is completed accurately and on time
- Reporting quality issues to Production and Quality Assurance teams
- Managing the segregation of non-conforming items and supporting corrective actions
- Calibrating, verifying, and monitoring laboratory measuring equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a QC laboratory within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of testing packaging, components, raw materials, and blend analysis
- Experience with in-line sampling of finished products
- Familiarity with producing Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformance
- A meticulous, highly organised approach with strong attention to detail
