Great opportunity to work as a QA Technician for our client, producers and distributors of speciality foods, working with artisan food producers across the globe. Staffline is recruiting QA Technicians in Evesham. The rate of pay is £14.43 per hour. This is a full-time role working rotating shifts. The hours of work are: 2 weeks 5am to 2pm, 2 weeks 9am to 6pm (occasionally when required due to the number of orders – Saturdays 5am to 2pm).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the HACCP team to meet food safety and quality goals
  • Running daily taste tests and reporting issues
  • Carrying out QA checks (temperature, calibration, hygiene swabs)
  • Keeping QA/operations documents up to date and controlled
  • Completing and filing records accurately
  • Helping production staff with paperwork
  • Conducting internal audits and closing non-conformances
  • Maintaining calibration log and scheduling equipment servicing
  • Working with teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
  • Ensuring supplier/customer specifications are accurate
  • Monitoring supplier performance and addressing issues
  • Supporting and documenting NPD food safety activities
  • Maintaining standards in line with BRCGS

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role and knowledge of food safety (HACCP/BRCGS) are required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Good problem‑solving skills and great attention to detail
  • Proactive, reliable and have excellent time management skills
