Fantastic opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Pucklechurch, Bristol. The role involves driving either an HGV Class 2 or a 7.5‑tonne curtain‑sided vehicle, delivering to regular customers on a route of 4‑8 drops per day, typically starting at 5 am for 8‑10 hour days, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Load the vehicle each morning and perform vehicle checks to ensure safety.
- Secure the palletised load and ensure it remains secure during transport.
- Deliver goods to assigned customers, completing 4‑8 stops per day.
- Unload pallets using forklift or pump truck & tail lift as required.
- Maintain high customer service standards during all interactions.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations on the road and at customer sites.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with category C.
- Valid Tacho and CPC certificates.
- Good customer service skills.
- Safety boots and high‑visibility clothing.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Previous Class 2/HGV 2 driving experience is desirable but not essential.
