We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded primary school in the WA10 area of St Helens. Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Assist children with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Support pupils with SEND and additional learning requirements
- Deliver targeted intervention programmes designed to improve confidence and attainment
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Help create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
Qualifications:
- Psychology degree (2:1 or above preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development and behaviour
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Patient, empathetic and resilient approach
- Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
