Location: 2A The Farriers, Annscroft, Shrewsbury SY5 8AN

Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift, 45 hours a week

Reporting to: Director

Responsibilities

  • As a PSV Mechanical Engineer you will service, maintain and repair our fleet, in a safe, efficient and economical manner to the required legal, regulatory and company standards.
  • Carring out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle types.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment.
  • MOT preparation.
  • Repair all vehicles as required to company and DVSA standards.
  • Maintain and complete vehicle and Company documentation.
  • Liaising with the parts department to attain correct parts.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in the automotive industry.
  • PCV Licence or willing to work towards acquiring this.
