We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative to support safe and functional environments across our school sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop core skills to carry out routine maintenance and minor planned and reactive repairs
- Use a broad range of trade skills including carpentry, joinery, basic plumbing, plastering, brickwork, and decorating
- Support general site maintenance across school environments
- Work alongside experienced colleagues to build practical, on job knowledge
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards at all times
Training & Qualifications
As part of the apprenticeship you will be enrolled onto a Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 qualification, normally lasting 18 months. GLP Training will provide 1-2-1 advice, e-learning materials, and training sessions every three months in Worcester. Travel expenses and accommodation for these training centres will be covered.

- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4-9 or equivalent) or Scottish National 5 certificates (Grade A-C). Certificates must be provided at interview.
