Project Coordinator required by industry leading engineering company, based in Gloucester. The successful Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting project delivery through effective planning, supplier coordination, and ensuring accurate documentation and purchasing processes.

Main Duties:

  • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with project requirements
  • Support planning and coordination across multiple ongoing projects
  • Liaise with third-party service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Act as the point of contact for queries relating to documentation and paperwork
  • Work closely with project leads to ensure smooth execution of project activities
  • Analyse project and purchasing data using Excel (including pivot tables)
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project-related purchasing activities

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles
  • Strong understanding of the complexities involved in project-based environments
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables and data analysis
  • Experience raising and managing purchase orders
  • Proven ability to coordinate tasks across multiple stakeholders
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise own workload
