What skills and experience we're looking for Following the successful promotion of the previous postholder we are seeking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic and committed Progress Leader (Head of Department) for English who can lead, inspire and drive excellence in teaching and learning across the department.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and strong student outcomes.
You will bring leadership experience, either within the English department or more widely across the school, and have the vision and determination to further develop an ambitious and successful team.
You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be highly motivated and collaborative, and demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring every student achieves their full potential in English.
Above all, you will model and deliver our ethos of being ‘Dedicated to Excellence’, leading by example and striving to secure the very best outcomes for all students.
