Position: Catering Assistant – Prestemede
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 6 hours per shift (15:30 – 17:30)
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef with food preparation.
- Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents.
- Load and unload dishwashers, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher.
- Clean kitchen and equipment.
- Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors.
- Clear tea trolleys where applicable.
- Empty kitchen rubbish, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Carry out reasonable requests as instructed by the Senior Chef/Chef.
- Ensure nutritional needs of residents are met.
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations.
- Work under the direction of the Chef as part of a Catering Team.
Training & Development
Full training will be provided, including a leadership programme supporting career progression within Shaw Healthcare.
