We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Professional who specializes in School Readiness and is passionate about delivering an exceptional EYFS curriculum to children aged 3 to 5 years.
Opportunity
As a Lead Practitioner, you will have the professional autonomy to shape the learning environment and lead a team of talented Nursery Nurses and Early Years Educators. This role is perfect for a Senior Practitioner looking for a setting that values Outdoor Learning, Montessori-inspired pedagogy, and Forest School principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Pedagogical Leadership: Lead the planning and implementation of a creative, play-based EYFS curriculum focused on literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
- Staff Mentoring: Support and develop a team of Level 3 Practitioners, conducting peer observations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ofsted Readiness: Maintain 'Outstanding' practice standards, ensuring all Safeguarding, SEND, and Health & Safety regulations are strictly met.
- Parent Partnership: Act as a senior point of contact for families, providing expert guidance on child development and the transition to primary school.
- Special Projects: Take ownership of Indoor and Outdoor Learning environments, ensuring they are safe, stimulating, and inclusive for all learners.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 3 Diploma in Childcare (Level 5, EYTS, or QTS highly desirable).
- Experience: Proven track record in a Senior Nursery Nurse or Room Leader role within a professional childcare setting.
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of In the Moment Planning (ITMP), Key Person systems, and Ofsted inspection frameworks.
- Qualities: A proactive 'can-do' attitude, excellent team management skills, and a genuine passion for Early Years Education.
