TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of nurseries across Bridgend who are looking to recruit dedicated Nursery Assistants on a supply basis. These nurseries provide safe, engaging and stimulating environments for children aged 0‑5 years, with a strong focus on encouraging social, emotional and educational development through play‑based learning.

The nurseries are looking for flexible Nursery Assistants to work on both full‑time and part‑time hours depending on availability. The successful Nursery Assistant will support daily childcare routines, assist with educational activities, help maintain a safe and hygienic environment and work closely with senior staff to monitor children’s progress and wellbeing.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification desirable
  • Experience working with children aged 0‑5 years
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • A caring and patient nature
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
