Hours and Pay
4 hours per week, early afternoon during the week (specifics to be discussed in interview). Pay: £14.00 per hour, mileage £0.40 per mile.
Responsibilities
- Accompany to outside activities such as bowling, walks, museums.
- Suggest and participate in outdoor activities.
- Ensure safety and well‑being at all times.
- Interact with the boy during activities.
- Help develop life skills including interpersonal skills, money management, confidence, independent shopping, and using public transport.
- Travel on public transport as needed.
- Serve as a mentor, being reliable and actively interested in spending time.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with additional needs.
- Outgoing, energetic, bubbly, and capable of sharing fun experiences.
- Flexible to accommodate preferred shifts.
