The Governing Body of St. Joseph’s Catholic Infant School, Port Talbot wish to appoint an excellent and highly committed Teaching Assistant Level 2, who is sympathetic to the Catholic Ethos of the school, to join our skilled team of staff.
The post will require the successful applicant to work with groups of children and form part of a team of teaching assistants working across the Foundation Phase. The successful candidate would also be required to take on the role of a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant for 0.5 hours per day.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children, able to support strategies aimed at maximizing learner outcomes, be a good communicator and team member. You must be caring, flexible and approachable in order to help motivate learners to succeed. It is important you are reliable and able to take responsibility and have the ability to work collaboratively.

Salary: Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Grade 3 SCP 3-5) £24,796.00 to £25,583.00 (pro rata). (subject to term time adjustment). The salary stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1st September. Part Time: 39 weeks (actual weeks TBC). Hours: 27.5 hours (part time). Salary: Grade 3 SCP (3-5). Actual Salary: £15,992.50 to £16,427.
