Triage and face to face appointments.
- On call duties when requested by the partnership.
- Equitable share of workload when a member of the Clinical Team is away.
- Share of cover for doctors when they are on leave.
- Checking and signing repeat prescriptions.
- Dealing with workflow queries, blood results, prescriptions, medical reports and examinations, referral letters (NHS and private) and correspondence (Docman) by the end of their working week.
- Taking an equitable share of the queries and workload from the wider MDT team.
- Making professional autonomous decisions with either self-referred patients or those referred by another member of the MDT team.
- Recording and making contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Prescribing within locally agreed guidelines.
The working day runs from 08.30 to 18.30.
