A welcoming and ambitious primary school at the heart of the Pontypridd community is seeking to appoint two outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our dedicated team. We are recruiting for:
- Early Years Foundation Phase – a specialist role supporting teaching and learning within our Early Years provision, helping to create engaging, nurturing, and inspiring learning experiences for our youngest learners.
- Whole School Support (Reception & Year 6) – a flexible role working across the school, providing high‑quality support, intervention delivery, and classroom cover where required from Reception through to Year 6.
Both positions require confident and capable HLTAs who can work independently, demonstrate excellent professional judgement, and positively impact pupil outcomes. Successful candidates will have experience delivering targeted interventions, supporting teaching and learning across a range of abilities, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement. The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families is essential.
The successful applicants will work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils while helping to maintain our inclusive and nurturing school culture.
