The University of South Wales is a vibrant University with around 1200 rooms nestled in the beautiful Welsh hills. The post holder will join the Estates and Facilities department and play an important role within the Accommodation team. The accommodation team is responsible for ensuring the students that reside in our halls have an optimal experience, with well maintained facilities, and good links into the wider services of the University.
The role will be based predominantly in Pontypridd. We are seeking an accommodation operations supervisor to join the accommodation services team. This is a full-time permanent post. The halls of residence are operational 365 days per year and therefore the post holder may be required to work some weekend hours on a few occasions such as over arrivals weekend and over the A Level clearing period or to help out in a period of high/unexpected sickness and absence. All posts are employed on a 5 days out of 7 basis. Whilst weekend work may be occasional it potentially forms part of the role so will be on a rota when applicable. If a weekend/Saturday or Sunday is worked, days off in the week will be arranged.
