- Pontypool £15.75 per hour | Flexible Agency Shifts Completely Care is currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our expanding agency team, supporting a variety of established nurseries throughout Pontypool and the surrounding areas.

The Role As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children’s learning in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
You will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can develop confidence, curiosity, and essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS guidelines.
Provide high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages children to thrive.
Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning and positive interactions.
Build strong professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with nursery teams to maintain high standards of care and education.
Observe, monitor, and support children’s progress and wellbeing.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures at all times.
Adapt confidently to different nursery settings, routines, and team environments.
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or an equivalent recognised qualification (essential). A minimum of six months’ recent UK nursery or early years experience.
Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, proactive, and professional approach to work.
Ability to quickly integrate into new settings and work effectively as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
What We Offer
Competitive hourly rate of £15.75 per hour, paid weekly. £250 joining bonus for qualified staff (terms and conditions apply). Flexible shifts to fit around your availability and lifestyle.
