32.5 Hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time only). The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a caring and committed Learning Hub Support Manager to ensure that all pupils accessing our Learning Hub are able to reach their full potential in a range of relevant and appropriate qualifications.
The role will require working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, to effectively deliver a bespoke curricula for pupils in KS4, to achieve their learning goals within an orderly and supportive environment whilst preparing them for relevant examinations and assessments.
West Monmouth is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school serving Pontypool and the surrounding area. West Monmouth has an excellent reputation within its community for both academic results and pastoral care and many pupils from outside our traditional catchment area have chosen to join us in recent years.
Registration with the Education Workforce Council is required for this post. Welsh Language Skills are desirable for this post but not essential. You are welcome to submit your application in English or in Welsh. Each application will be treated equally.
