Hours of Work: 6 hours per week, ideal two 3‑hour shifts. Preferably Saturday and one day after school, but flexible.

Rate of Pay: £16.30 per hour, plus £0.40 per mile where applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the employee out into the community.
  • Ensure safety while out in the community.
  • Help build independence.
  • Build a relationship with the employee.
  • Support and work a shift at home if weather is not suitable.
  • Support toilet use when required when out.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Car driver with business class insurance.
  • Non-smoker.
  • Patience and empathy.
  • Willingness to encourage the employee as they may be stubborn.
  • Kind and friendly.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Comfortable working in a home with a dog.
  • Level-headed and resilient.
  • National Insurance number.
  • Successful DBS (Police) check.

Employment Conditions:

This part‑time role requires a successful DBS check, a valid National Insurance number and a trial period. Pay will be made monthly and holiday pay will be provided.
