Job Overview A part‑time personal assistant (PA) position supporting meal preparation, feeding, light domestic duties, and providing respite for the main carer.
Hours of Work Approximately 4 hours per week (2 hours per day) during flexible days between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm.
Pay and Benefits Hourly rate of £13.30, paid monthly with holiday pay.
Responsibilities Prepare, heat and serve meals, including sorting vegetables.
Feed the employee and ensure safety during feeding.
Perform light domestic tasks such as laundry and cleaning as needed.
Engage in conversation and provide companionship.
Maintain privacy and respect while working in the employee’s home.
Qualifications and Requirements Good communication, patient, and understanding.
Good listening skills and ability to build a supportive relationship.
Must hold a National Insurance number.
Successful completion of a DBS (Police) check and satisfactory references.
Employment is subject to a required DBS check, which will be carried out before commencement.
