Responsibilities
Experience as a Pipe Fitter for Day Shifts, working between the main Fab Shop and project sites.
Work involves installation & fabrication of 2-4 inch and 6-12 inch carbon and stainless steel pipe.
Setting up pipe butts & flanges to strict QC specifications, ready for coded welders.
Fitting pipework, valves, and supports to engineering drawings, including pre-fabricated pipe spools.
Fabrication of pipework to strict QC specifications.
Qualifications
Level 3 / Apprenticeship / ACE in Pipe Fitting.
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience (e.g., nuclear, oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, marine & shipbuilding, heavy industrial construction).
Ability to read PID and G&A drawings.
Valid CCNSG or EMMS Card Safety Passport.
Benefits & Working Conditions
- Pay by PAYE Rates or CIS Rates with an extra 12.5% on top of basic hours: £24 Days - £30 Nights - £35 OT1 - £42 OT2.
- Travel expense and travel time paid.
- Term work: 6-13 weeks initially; potential long-term (26-52 weeks). Working arrangement is 10 days on / 4 days off (Tuesday to following Thursday), with day shift and night shift options.
