Additional pay & bonuses:
- Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract)
- One-off approval bonus of 5% of salary
- Up to 10% annual performance bonus based on quality and performance
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Part-time hours available.
About the role:
As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work. You’ll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments. Based at one of our UK centres, you’ll benefit from a structured working environment, comprehensive training, and clear career development pathways.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct functional assessments and produce clear, accurate, high-quality reports
- Use clinical judgement to assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records in line with clinical governance and quality standards
- Engage in ongoing training, CPD, and clinical supervision
- Deliver assessments with empathy, professionalism, and integrity
What you’ll need:
To apply, you must:
- Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist)
- Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years
- Have no current restrictions to practice
- Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
