Focus Birmingham is a local charity supporting and empowering individuals with visual impairment and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives. We are currently looking for Personalisation Support Workers who are passionate about person-centred care and active support. This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to help individuals with complex needs unlock their potential through meaningful activities, positive relationships, and high-quality support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, engaging, and inclusive support tailored to each individual
- Help design and lead activities based on people’s interests, abilities, and goals
- Promote wellbeing, independence, and choice in everyday life
- Build positive, trusting relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues
- Work as part of a supportive team to ensure high-quality, person-centred care
Requirements
About You: If you are passionate about person-centred support and active participation
- Caring, patient, and enthusiastic
- Creative and confident in supporting meaningful activities
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- Experience in care or support work is desirable, but not essential.
