Overview

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to work with me for 18 hours a week hopefully for Mon/ Wed/ Friday specifically.

About Me

About myself I'm an 11 year old girl living with my family in the Merthyr area. I am social and enjoy technology very much. I try to be very independent, but with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) I use PECS normally but also have my own words for some things. I seek sensory stimulation. Mum thinks I am obsessed with my iPad, which we are trying to limit. I also like blankets, cushions, towels, tags, play dough, anything messy. I don't like the word 'No' and like to be in control. Mum gives me a choice of 2 or 3 items that makes me feel that I have some control.

Tasks and Duties

I would like a Personal Assistant to take me out to be more social and have independence.

Type of Person Required

  • Kind, friendly and patient
  • Awareness/experience of working with ASD individuals is highly desirable
  • Someone with a car and driving licence
  • Over 18 years of age
