Pay: BG4 £15,668 (Actual Salary) from April 2026
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 2:45pm (including a 15 minute unpaid break). Term time only, working 39 weeks (including 5 inset days), 13 weeks school holidays of which 6.6 weeks paid as annual leave.
Closing Date: 21st June 2026
Responsibilities
- Carry out personal care routines with/for pupils, including manual handling (training provided).
- Assist in break and lunchtime supervision to ensure pupils receive their drink/meal on time in a safe and hygienic setting.
- Deliver food in consistency and form suitable for each pupil according to their personal eating and drinking needs.
- Support hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions.
- Deliver a range of appropriate lunchtime play or leisure activities to ensure the lunchtime experience is enjoyable for all children.
- Assist pupils that are tube fed and administer medication (further training provided).
- Support pupils in accessing their environment and community.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful.
- Experience or background in care (preferred).
- Commitment to inclusion.
Additional Information
We will provide a planned induction within a strong and supportive multi‑professional team. Salary is dependent on Local Government continuous service. We are unable to sponsor visas for this role.
