About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and encouraging female Personal Assistant to provide support with daily routines and task/time management. This role involves very little personal care but requires someone who is positive, patient, and able to provide motivation and emotional support for a disabled person battling brain injury and PTSD. This role is ideal for a suitable female candidate who is happy to take my life off pause!

  • Encouragement in managing task load and daily routine.
  • Motivating actioning various bigger things over different days and completing a daily checklist to aid wellbeing.
  • Basic personal hygiene reminders such as brushing teeth.
  • Aiding memory improvement including building commitment to strengthening exercises that enable mobility and rehabilitation.
  • Providing encouragement to complete light household tasks such as laundry and cleaning.
  • Prompting regular shopping and preparing of meals within budget (gluten and lactose-free as needed).
  • Helping with organisation, planning, and balancing tasks to manage fatigue.
  • Offering calm, consistent support with emotional regulation and day-to-day challenges.
  • Overall guiding of time management improvement will reduce procrastination and support me to manage deadlines in between so many medical appointments.

About You

  • Female preferred due to personal needs.
  • Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries or neurological conditions is essential.
  • Strong background in helping manage complex needs.
  • Positive, supportive, and encouraging approach.
  • Patient, reliable, and emotionally resilient.
  • Comfortable working with someone who experiences chronic fatigue, PTSD, and feeling overwhelmed with task management.
  • DBS check required (funded).

Additional Information

  • No pets in the home.
  • Non-smoker please.
  • Must be ok with stairs.

  • Can be flexible about times of day worked to fit in with your schedule.
