Millison Chase Limited is looking for a Class 1 (CE) Night Driver to join our logistics team. This is a key holder position, driving a CE articulated lorry delivering to retail stores at night, handling both loading and unloading of roll cages, and returning empty cages.
What you’ll be doing:
- Typically 3 store deliveries per night
- Unloading and loading roll cages at each store
- Collecting empty cages and returning them to base
- Using store keys and profiles to set alarms and access deliveries
- Working independently as a lone night driver
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year on licence
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Hold all 3 valid UK driving cards: Licence, CPC & Digi
- Class 1 (CE) licence with tail lift, side gate, and kick plate experience
- Committed to strict Health & Safety and Compliance policies
Hours & Shifts:
- Night shifts: Start times between 16:00 - 22:00, completed by 07:00
- Shifts will not exceed 12 hours
- Mix of short and long routes
Induction & Training:
- Up to 8 hours induction, including drugs & alcohol test, driving assessment, and paperwork
- Manual handling assessment to be provided before induction
- 3–4 days of buddy training on nights after successful induction
