Millison Chase Limited are currently recruiting experienced HGV CE Class 1 Drivers for ongoing flatbed equipment delivery work across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering quality drivers and excellent service to both our clients and candidates.

Job Details

  • We are looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to carry out flatbed deliveries using articulated lorries with flatbed or swan neck trailers fitted with beavertails.
  • The role will involve:
    • Day work with early morning starts
    • Delivering plant machinery and equipment nationwide
    • Local and national deliveries
    • Long shifts available
    • Operating flatbed and swan neck trailers
    • Using beavertails for safe loading and offloading of equipment
    • Securing loads safely using straps and chains
    • Multi-drop deliveries when required

Pay Rates

  • Days: £16.00 per hour
  • Weekends: Up to £22.00 per hour

Requirements

  • Applicants must hold:
    • Valid UK HGV CE (Class 1) Licence
    • Valid Driver CPC Card
    • Digital Tachograph Card
    • Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)
    • Previous flatbed or equipment transport experience preferred
    • Experience securing loads using straps and chains
    • Good understanding of load safety and transport regulations
    • Good communication and timekeeping skills
