We're looking for Female Care Assistants in the Penrhyndeudraeth area to support vulnerable people with varying needs, including learning disabilities, complex needs, and mental health conditions.

Locations: Penrhyndeudraeth, Porthmadog, Harlech, and Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide person‑centred care and support, including personal care tasks, daily living assistance, and companionship.
  • Encourage independence and facilitate social networking.
  • Accompany individuals to holidays and social events when necessary.

Shift Patterns: 24‑hour block shifts, days or nights, with flexibility in days worked. Weekend work is essential. Both drivers and non‑drivers are considered.

Training and Progression:

  • No prior experience required; full training is provided.
  • Opportunity to complete either NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care through work‑based learning.
  • Must achieve a recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification within the first 3 years.
  • In Wales, all social care staff must register with Social Care Wales (SCW), incurring an annual fee.
