We have a position available within our portable cabin refurbishment workshop for a motivated, knowledgeable and hard‑working individual to join our team as a plumber/cabin fitter. Nortons is a family company that looks after its employees and expects the same in return. Many of our workers have been at the company for over 10 years and understand what we are looking for in an employee. An honest and hard day’s work in return for a fair day’s pay is all we ask.

The job is located at our Manchester premises in Miles Platting, which has been our home for over 30 years. We carry out a wide range of cabin refurbishment projects which include bespoke designs, external customer refurbishments and the servicing and repairing of sale cabins.

In this role you will be responsible for fitting kitchens, toilets, showers, sinks and other plumbing fixtures, as well as carrying out water tests. The candidate must also be able to work as part of a team and carry out a variety of tasks within the workshop.

Requirements:
  • Full set of tools for the job.
  • Experience in basic plumbing of kitchens, toilets, shower installations and testing.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good physical condition and stamina.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime is available and Saturday work may be required.
