We are looking for a Bakery Operative for our client in Avonmouth. The role pays £15.54 per hour and is full‑time (approximately 48 hours per week) on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Hours of work: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the best possible production of our products.
- Have a high degree of accuracy while efficiently fulfilling orders.
- Operate and maintain machinery within the factory in accordance with food and health & safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the working environment.
- Complete all hygiene documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in customer visits and audits as required.
- Perform manual handling as required by the role.
Qualifications
- Good English and maths skills.
- Awareness of the importance of health and safety.
- Functional IT skills are beneficial.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certification and experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Bakery experience and SHE Level 1 Certification are preferred, but full training will be provided.
