Remuneration & Working Hours:
- Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour
- Travel allowance: 43p per mile
- Additional allowance: up to £1.30 for evening and weekend hours
- Shift patterns vary; overtime opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
- Provide domestic support and housekeeping, including weekly apartment cleans and laundry services.
- Maintain communal areas and assist in cleaning tasks within the development.
- Support residents and help them maximise their retirement living experience.
- Assist in the bistro or restaurant as needed.
- Possibility to take on increased duties and train for a Duty Manager role.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid UK driving licence required at application.
- A caring personality and desire to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Experience in domestic cleaning or a customer‑service role in health & social care, hospitality, retail, or domestic services.
- Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
- Considerate, patient, professional, friendly and approachable.
- Good communication skills and a hard‑working, diligent nature.
- Reliable time‑keeping.
