Join Alcedo Care Southport & Ormskirk as a Childrens Care Assistant working within the areas of Southport, Ormskirk and Burscough. Excellent rates of pay £13.50-£14.40, PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of £15.47-£16.74). We are offering a free DBS check. Immediate interviews available. Shifts are flexible where possible and we also have opportunities for short shifts or 12-hour shifts days or nights. Expected average hours - 20 to 40 hours plus per week.
Responsibilities
- The Care Assistant role involves personal care including continence support, washing, dressing as well as supporting with medication, meal preparation and helping with household tasks.
- Promote people’s independence and bring a real sense of joy to those you support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Driving Requirement: Hold a full UK driving licence; be medically fit to drive; be willing to undertake appropriate checks in line with company policy.
- You will enjoy meeting and supporting a diverse range of people of all ages.
- No previous experience is required as all training is provided to boost skills and confidence.
- Due to the nature of the role, including personal care, unsupervised work with vulnerable individuals and the need to work flexible hours including late evenings and weekends, applicants must be aged 18 or over.
- This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
