About the Service

Royle Close and Charleston is a registered residential care service supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured environment. We promote independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person‑centred support.

Role Summary

Permanent, Full‑time – 37.5 hours per week (rota‑based). Rate: £12.79 per hour. We are recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker in Oldham to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver person‑centred support in line with individual support plans.
  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care when required.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
  • Support activities, appointments and community access.
  • Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep‑ins.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota.
  • Good communication and written skills; basic IT proficiency.
  • Confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS (paid for by CareTech).
  • Driver’s licence preferred but not essential.
