About the Service
Royle Close and Charleston is a registered residential care service supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured environment. We promote independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person‑centred support.
Role Summary
Permanent, Full‑time – 37.5 hours per week (rota‑based). Rate: £12.79 per hour. We are recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker in Oldham to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred support in line with individual support plans.
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care when required.
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Support activities, appointments and community access.
- Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
- Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep‑ins.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota.
- Good communication and written skills; basic IT proficiency.
- Confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS (paid for by CareTech).
- Driver’s licence preferred but not essential.
