About the Role as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide expert 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
  • Deliver tailored interventions and support plans to help pupils overcome barriers to learning
  • Mentor and guide pupils, promoting resilience, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
  • Work closely with teachers to co-plan lessons, track progress, and contribute to pupil development
  • Support the wider school team in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For in a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or complex needs
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • A compassionate, calm, and proactive approach to behaviour and learning support
  • Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, and SEND strategies

To Be Eligible You Must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service (or be willing to apply)
  • Provide two professional child-related references
